This Saturday, I’m honored to speak at the Northwest Christian Writers Renewal Conference. I truly feel honored, because last year, I was simply an attendee, and I took notes like crazy. I literally put into practice just about everything that I learned in the sessions that I attended.
Glorious Mess, my autobiographical book based upon the Prophet of Jonah (yeah, it’s a little confusing) was officially released in February. And now, I have the privilege of encouraging others afflicted with the desire to write, by sharing with them the good, the bad, and the ugly of a year of writing and publishing when you don’t have the ability to devote full time to it.
My session is called A Journeyman’s Year at the Writing Craft, and I’d love to invite you to join me. Good Morning! Do you know of any organization like this in or around Texas? I've been reading/teaching from your book Glorious Mess which has lead me to your website. God timing for sure, I'd say! You've inspired me to start again on writing. I've heard for about 10 years now "When are you going to start writing your book"? I'd say it's time I stop running from God :) I'm a wife of a wonderful Godly man who is a full time firefighter. We have three miraculous boys, one of which has multiple disabilities, and we are youth pastors/adopted parents to lots of fabulous kiddos. God has taught us so much through so many different experiences in life. We'd love to share God's love with as many people as possible!!
